What will you be doing on this July 4th holiday? This is a day where we attend parades, BBQ’s and watch baseball! But there is so much more your kids can do to keep busy during this popular summer holiday. Here are a few great July 4th activities, printables and goodies you can share with the family. My goal is to make one of the 4th of July Clothespin wreaths to hang on my door!
July 4th Activities
Star-Spangled slime – Slime is fun any time of the year. This one adds a few red, white and blue stars.
Paint stars on driveway – I love the idea of decorating your yard and driveway with stars. This is great for the kids to do.
4th of July Clothespin wreath -This project is on my to-do list!
American Flag paint stick project – All kids love to play with popsicle sticks, this is a great project leading up to the 4th of July.
Patriotic necklace – My kids love to make necklaces and these will be fun to wear to the town parade.
Confetti launchers – This is a great alternative to fireworks especially if your kids are too young for sparklers.
Flag hunt game – Kids can spend hours looking around the yard for flags. Really fun idea!
Bean bag toss game -This game can keep your kids busy all summer long.
4th of July rock painting – I think rock painting is underrated! We used to do this all the time when I was a kid.
Make lawn stars with sifted flour -Here’s another idea on how to incorporate stars into your yard.
